Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 29 on 2019-11-26. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '29'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 29 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Proposed change to Prioritized Bugs process

[I'm not posting this more broadly because it's an implementation detail, but I wanted to run it by anyone who may be subscribed to this list] Right now, the Prioritized Bugs process[1] uses a combination of the Whiteboard and Keywords fields in Bugzilla. This makes it a little annoying, and it also leads to problems when development teams also use the "Triaged" keyword as part of their work flow. I propose that we change the Prioritized Bugs process to use a new fedora_prioritized_bug flag in Bugzilla. It would work in a similar fashion to fedora_review: bugs are nominated by setting the flag to '?'. Bugs that are accepted will have the flag set to '+'. Bugs that are rejected will have the flag set to '-'. This avoids conflicts with other workflows and allows for easier automation of meeting agendas and status pages. If there are no objections by next week's Prioritized Bugs meeting, I will implement the new workflow and update documentation after that meeting. (No debugging symbols found in ls) Missing separate debuginfos, use: dnf debuginfo-install coreutils-8.31-2.fc30.x86_64 This basically fixes the issue I was reporting back in 2010; thanks for implementing it.
