Hallo
I'm unable to build an home-brewed kernel 5.6-rc7 on F32.
I copied the config-5.6.0-0.rc7.git0.2.fc32.x86_64 to .config.
But the kernel is crashing with "stackprotector"-${something} just at the beginning of the boot process.
I also see a lot of warning during build, but no errors.
I also tried Kernel 5.5.13 without success and same above crash.
thinking something was missing I also tried with:
sudo dnf groupinstall "Development Tools" and sudo dnf groupinstall "C Development Tools and Libraries"
Idea's ?

Ask on the Test list, which is where questions about F32 should go as it's an unreleased system.

I thought that and *that* you would complain.
For the first "that" take a look here:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/test@lists.fedoraproject.org/t...
P.S. where can I read the rules what should where go ? And who made the rule, you ?
you piss me off, dude, with your *pathological* ${sort-and-control-delusion} !
find a smart doc !

If you "knew" I would complain, you also knew there was something to complain about. Which there was, given that your question is specifically related to F32. If the same problem occurs in F31, then fine, but you don't say that. Did you try it?
Why did I tell you to take it to the Test list? Because that's the list "for testing and quality assurance of Fedora releases" and many of the people who might be able to answer your question *do not read the Users list*.
where can I read the rules what should where go ?
The list description merely says that it's for "community support for Fedora users". However if you've been on this list for any length of time (and apparently you've been on it since 2016) you should know by now what the generally accepted topics are.
And who made the rule, you ?
There is no rule. This is a community, and members are expected to respect the community standards.

Perhaps it's time you read:

Wrong, I know *why* the *special* complainer complains and who that always is:
*you* !
....

Dude, who are you telling me that I "should know for now" ?
and please don't further mix "generally accecpted" with "from Mr. POC accecpted" (see above: who complains ).
And who made the rule, you ?

Okay then, please go ahead and start with "respecting" user questions at all, first !

Sure, will do.
I guess, you are additionally searching for someone helping *you* to understand what's in there ?

I think I've said all I'm going to say on the subject. I'll leave it to others to judge who is in the right about this, but I'm done.
