After fighting several more surprises, v4.13.0 has been tagged. Note that the ovirt-3.3 branch has been rebased as stated above.

We have a pending SELinux issue on el6: v4.13.0 requires a yet-unpublished selinux-policy-targeted package that would allow it to use /var/run/vdsm/storage for its storage repository.

Until it is published, you would need to something like

sudo semanage fcontext -a -s system_u -t virt_var_run_t -r s0 '/var/run/vdsm(/.*)?'

and --force install your vdsm.rpm.
