Karthiga,

Please be sure to reply-all in the future, so that your message goes to our mailing list and the other Outreachy mentors can meet you and get to know you a bit more.

You can find the hubs repository at the URL here:

https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/branch/develop

You can then run the following from the command-line:

git clone ssh://git@pagure.io/fedora-hubs.git
git fetch
git checkout develop

The README file will walk you through the development server setup: https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/blob/develop/f/README.rst

There's also a tutorial in that README about 'Stubbing out a new widget' - follow those steps too.

After you've done those tasks, we have a list of widgets that need to be created under the "issue" tab on the pagure.io page. When you're ready to take a try at that, let us know and we can help you figure out a good one to start out with.

Good Luck, and we'll see you in IRC.
--RemyD.

Karthiga,

Great to meet you, I'm thrilled to hear you are interested in contributing to Fedora :)

Be sure to join the women-outreach mailing list as well, to keep up with any updates on the program:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/women-outreach

Then take a look at the Outreachy Wiki Page:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Outreachy/2015

On that page are the two projects we are hiring for this cycle, and the mentors for each project. Once you've read about the projects, you should join #fedora-outreachy on irc.freenode.net, and introduce yourself to the folks there, and tell us about which project you are interested in.

Once you've done that, we can point you to the other specific places and mentors in your area of interest, and help you get started on your first contributions.

See you soon,
--RemyD.

P.S. - In the meantime, if you are available you are welcome to join us for a meeting of the Community Operatoons (CommOps) team tomorrow at noon in #fedora-meeting-2, where you can meet other applicants and mentors in the program.
