Hey there! I'm Eliane Ramos, Brazilian living in Czech Republic, graduated in Bachelor of Computer Information Systems. I have been learning Python and I'd like to put it in practice with a useful project. I heard about the Outreach Program For Women and became interested in the port to Python3's idea. Do you already have a specific project to do the port on the top of your head? Could you recommend me a first project/task to get familiarized with the code and then submit a patch? What does "port to Python3" mean ("fork" the project written in Python2 and rewrite whatever is necessary to Python3 or keep the project compatible with both versions)?
That's all for now, I will be waiting for an answer and feel free to ping me on #fedora-apps (I'm elianeramos there). Thanks in advance.
Best regards,

You'll want to contact the mentors for this project to get a first project/task. It looks like the mentors are Luke Macken and Ralph Bean. You should email them - their contact info is on their Github repos:
