Hi, I've got several instances of 389 server (1 primary and 3 replicas) running version 1.2.9.16 on RHEL 6.2. I've got a new server running version 1.2.11.15 on RHEL 6.7.
When I start up 389-console to connect to a server, I can connect to the older servers just fine, navigate and configure things. When I connect to the new server all of the UI tabs are blank and the content is blank. There are radio buttons and checkboxes that correspond to the positions of where everything should be, but there is no text. I've tried multiple versions of 389-console (even latest 1.1.18) but they all do the same thing. I need to connect to this new instance to set it up as a replication server, but don't know how to do it with a broken 389-console. Please help.

Does anyone know what this is? Some of the tabs just show 'Missing Title' and much of the text for configuration elements is labeled as 'label'. Is there another way to set up my server to be a replica without having to use 389-console?

I don't personally use the console, so I do not know how to investigate or answer your question.
However, I would appreciate if you could provide the 389-console version you are using. What machine are you running the console from and to?
I've tried 389-console version 1.1.9 (distro version) and version 1.1.18 from Ubuntu 16.04. I've tried 389-console version 1.1.7 (distro version) and version 1.1.18 from RHEL 6.7. The 389 dirsrv instance I'm trying to connect to is running on RHEL 6.7.

I've never seen it before. It could be an ACI issue. Are you logging into the console as directory manager?

Yes, see our extensive documentation on setting up replication from the command line:
