Outage: fedorahosted.org services - 2012-08-21 21:00UTC There will be an outage starting at 2012-08-21 21:00UTC, which will last approximately 3 hours. To convert UTC to your local time, take a look at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/UTCHowto or run: date -d '2012-08-21 21:00UTC' Reason for outage: We will be moving fedorahosted.org from the single instance it's now on to a pair of machines using a glusterfs backend. Both nodes in the new configuration will be live and handling traffic, spreading load to each. Additionally, one node can service all requests if the other node is down or being rebooted. This will decrease load and increase availability. Note that fedorahosted lists will not be affected by this move. Outage: fedorahosted.org outage - 2012-08-04 20:40 UTC There was an outage starting at 2012-08-04 20:40 UTC, which will lasted approximately 1 hour. Services were fully restored at 2012-08-04 22:03 UTC To convert UTC to your local time, take a look at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/UTCHowto or run: date -d '2012-08-04 20:40 UTC' Reason for outage: The fedorahosted.org server hit an OOM condition and locked up. Service was restored after a power cycle of the instance. In the next few weeks we will be moving this service to a pair of redundant servers which should reduce the chance of this having any impact.
