Ovirt is an open-source alternative to the VMWare server cluster management stack. In recent releases, it supports cloud-init natively, making Fedora Cloud Base Image (or Fedora Atomic Host) ideal guest images to run. Would someone like to adapt this blog post http://blog.evilissimo.net/cloudinit-integration-in-ovirt into something Fedora-focused for Fedora Magazine?

The terms of service on that site make it seem like that blog post is copyrighted. If that's the case, I don't recommend adapting it. Rather, see if someone can write a new, original post that covers how to accomplish the same task with oVirt. I seem to recall Brian P has experience here, maybe he can help?
Hi Paul,
no worries that's no copyrighted content - I just use svbtle.com as the hosting of my blog. I hereby give you explicitly the permission to use the article content as the author of it.
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hey Vinzenz! I know this is a late follow-up, but we found this article in the draft queue and realized we never followed up on it! I was looking at your original blog post and was wondering if it might be possible for you to provide an HTML version of it that we port to the Magazine? This will save time for us having to manually apply all the formatting again inside of WordPress.
Additionally, would you be interested in writing the Fedora-flavored version of this post for the Magazine? You're currently listed as the author inside of the Magazine interface, but I wasn't sure if this was to assign proper credit or if you were interested in making the modification for the Magazine. If you aren't interested in making the changes, we should still be able to find someone who could lend a hand!
Thanks for your time, and again, sorry on the late follow-up here!

Hmm the blog engine I use, used mark down for that, and I actually think it’s faster to use that to port than anything else.

I actually was actually about to pick this part up but haven’t started writing the actual content just yet. I will however do so soon and send it for review.
Thanks for your time, and again, sorry on the late follow-up here!

Hi Vinzenz, is your draft complete yet? We weren't sure upon review. Hope to hear from you soon, because we like the topic matter.

Hi there Paul,
No it’s not complete yet I need to finish it - I really only started yesterday with the writing. I will let you know once I think that the article is complete.

Hi Vinzenz,
I've done some light editing on the article. This was almost entirely just to tweak the English to make it more readable. You are welcome to review. Could you make sure my tweaks are OK in the procedures for setting up cloud-init parameters for the VM in oVirt (both permanent and run-once)?
If you find it's OK, we should be able to publish this soon, once we have a featured image ready.

Looks good to me. Thanks a lot for the quick work on it!

Awesome, I just put there something quickly hacked together with some CC0 images, but that was just for the WIP :-)
