shotwell-0.15.0-0.1.pr3.fc20 (FEDORA-2013-17946)
A photo organizer for the GNOME desktop
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Shotwell 0.15.0pr3 pre-release which should be fairly close to the upcoming 0.15.0.
Previously, shotwell 0.14.x failed to build on F20 because of a newer Vala version. This had caused it to fall behind and not get latest bug fixes that went into F19. This update makes Shotwell buildable again.
Also, Shotwell is now built with newer libgee version that the rest of the apps on the Desktop live media use, helping get rid of the old libgee06 package on the iso image.

I'm not having any luck figuring out how Yum can be limited to installing
only hard dependencies when any given package is installed, avoiding "nice to
have" things that take time to install and update that I'll never use. If
this is covered in the yum.conf man page I missed it. In zypper's zypp.conf
this is done via InstallRecommends = no. In Mageia, --no-suggests is used
with urpmi. How is it handled in Fedora?

Why tiresome? It is a bit interesting. Way better than some of the
vitriol showing up on the lists. I remember programming a RemRand steel
drum memory computer using a teletype and punched paper tape. I also
remember seeing a U-2 in use running a single application (civilian
payroll) at a Navy facility.
None used Fedora.

Various fixes:
- Terminal progress reporting now updated only every 0.1 seconds, instead of 0.01 seconds, to reduce terminal emulator CPU usage
- Empty exclude patterns are ignored. Previously, a configuration file line such as "exclude = foo, bar," (note trailing comma) would result in an empty pattern, which would match everything, and therefore nothing would be backed up
- A FUSE plugin to access (read-only) data from the backup repository has been added. Written by Valery Yundin.
NEWS for larch:
- Bug fix in how Larch handles partly-comitted B-tree journals in read-only mode. Previously, this would result in a crash if, say, a node had been removed, but the B-tree metadata hadn't been committed

python-tracing-0.8-1.fc19 (FEDORA-2013-17883)
Python debug logging helper
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Previously, this would result in a crash if, say, a node had been removed, but the B-tree metadata hadn't been committed

python-coverage-test-runner-1.10-1.fc18.1 (FEDORA-2013-17915)
Python module for enforcing code coverage completeness
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
