So I thought I'd give this installation method a whirl (inside VirtualBox) but it fails every time. Usually died at:

Is this expected to work at this point?

I've tried all 6 of the virtual nics available in VirtualBox:
PCnet-PCI II (Am79C970A) PCnet-FAST III (Am79C973) *default* Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (82540EM) Intel PRO/1000 T Server (82543GC) Intel PRO/1000 MT Server (82545EM) Paravirtualized Network (virtio-net)

Haven't tried the last few days, but it wouldn't configure my nic neither, and mine is forcedeth (least that is module that fedora uses). Not even sure I got as far as you did with getting an IP.
