Testing GNOME Maps through command line debugger the application pulls names and addresses without permission or notification.
They seem to be pulled/placed in org/gnome/Maps/js/placeStore.js
Guidance on where this behavior is originating from, to then report it correctly?

Well, I'd file this against gnome-maps upstream, if it were me.
