I'd like to give snap3 a test. I want to try a live media test (not HD install).
I see live cd media, but does the dvd include a live option? (That would give more software, and probably faster operation) Is my only live option the cd?

I'd say a live cd would give you faster operation and, if you want other software, yum install does the trick for you.
