could some one look into this problem
The Linksys vendor ID and a device ID of 0x1032 show up in the SysKonnect 98 source...googling elsewhere indicates that the Natsemi 83821 chip used on at least 1 rev of that card is based on the Marvell Yukon design which this driver does support...so it seems probable that the sk98lin driver included in FC1 ought to work. Give it a shot and let us know.

Perhaps I should have been more clear in my reply as it looks like you are doing things the hard way...if you go to the main menu/system settings/network and type in the root password, you should get the network configuration gui...select the hardware tab and either edit (if an ethernet device exists) or new (or if everything is blank, perhaps run the wizard from the devices tab). From there you should be able to select the SysKonnect SK-98xx Gigabit driver from the list of modules supplied with the kernel rpm. This certainly is true for the standard 2.4 Fedora kernels...it is working with both i686 and x86_64 installations here...I'm not running any of the Fedora 2.6 kernels so I can't say what happens there but I would be surprised to find the sk98lin driver wasn't included. Of course, for a custom kernel, you have to make sure the SysKonnect driver will get built during configuration.
