Hey all,
Jakub recently finished movement of copr builders from Fedora 30 to Fedora F31. At this moment we are not aware of any serious issues related to this change, but please let us know if you noticed anything.
With a great help of fedora infra (Kevin) we were able to add a new set of builders for x86_64 architecture, so the build queue processing should be faster now. Also, the new machines should be a bit faster (while we still keep the old machines), so please be prepared that the x86_64 builder set is not that homogeneous as before. There's currently no way to pick VM from one or another set.
Happy building! Pavel

I also added a few more aarch64 builders now, so .. the same warning applies to that architecture.

Hi,
The queue of low priority tasks seems to be stalled. In fact, there are 11 builds from iucar/cran supposedly running, but all of them finished, some of them hours ago. Not sure if this may have something to do with this recent change.
Regards, Iñaki

The createrepo_c trhoughput is low in your large project. We can not run multiple createrepo_c processes concurrently on single project, and thus all of the builders are waiting.. there is possible to do several improvements. This issue has our priority now.

Glad to hear that, will build Python 3.9 soon to test this :D

To be specific: we identified two ways how to improve speed of createrepo_c for large project. And we are working on contributing directly to createrepo_c upstream.
One PR has been already sent, the other is on the way. Preliminary discussed with upstream maintainer.
