Greetings.
I'm happy to announce that we have moved our new OpenID identity
provider (fas-openid) into production and it's ready for general use.
OpenID allows you to use an existing identity (like a Fedora Project
account) on sites or applications that support OpenID authentication.
Fedora Project account holders can use this openid identity provider
by specifying:
username.id.fedoraproject.org
on any OpenID enabled relying party application.
(Where 'username' is your Fedora Account system login).
More information is available at:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/OpenID
Code for this provider (under GPLv2+) is available at:
https://github.com/fedora-infra/fas-openid
Please report any issues or problems to the Fedora infrastructure trac:
https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/newticket
Many thanks to Patrick Uiterwijk for all the hard work on
expanding and re implementing this service.
kevin

Hi,
For the first time, Fedora release name have non-ascii and pelican
characters which
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=922433
Could we consider change release name from "Schrödinger's Cat" to
"Schrodingers Cat" or other name that not have this additional
problem ?
Thanks,

Hi,
After my changes today, the latest SRPM should be "open-vm-tools-9.2.3-3.fc20.src.rpm" instead of open-vm-tools-9.2.3-1.fc20.src.rpm .
Could someone please tell me how do I get this page http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/development/rawhide/source/SRP… updated?
Thanks in advance,
Ravindra
Greetings.
I'm happy to announce that our sticky-notes pastebin service is fully
live and in service for any of your Fedora Project related pastebin
needs.
A pastebin is a web application that allows you to temporarily store
small blocks of text or code for sharing to others.
You can find it at:
http://paste.fedoraproject.org/
Or use the handy command line client 'fpaste' utility available in the
'fpaste' package. Simply 'yum install fpaste' and then 'man fpaste' for
more information. (Note that fpaste versions older than 0.3.7.1-5 may
still be using the old site/api and may not work, make sure to install
a newer version).
I would like to thank the fpaste.org maintainer(s) for their long years
of service offering a pastebin to the Fedora community, and we are
happy we can take on this support burden moving forward. The fpaste.org
domain has been redirected to the paste.fedoraproject.org servers to
assist folks in migrating to the new service.
For bug reports or feature requests, please file against the
'sticky-notes' component in bugzilla.redhat.com:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Fedora&version=rawhide&co…
For issues with the Fedora infrastructure hosted instance, please file
in the fedora infrastructure trac instance:
https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/newticket
Sticky-notes is available under the BSD license.
See: https://github.com/sayakb/sticky-notes for upstream source.

Dear testers, a new test day awaits! This time it is MariaDB test day, which is scheduled tomorrow (2013-04-30).
As some of you might know, Fedora 19 is going to experience an interesting change in default implementation of MySQL RDBMS. MariaDB is a fork of original MySQL and in comparison to MySQL it includes some additional features and should be a bit faster and more stable. You will have an opportunity to test this change during MariaDB Test day either on example components that use MySQL-like database as a back-end or on you own testing data.
All test instructions and other details are on the wiki page:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2013-04-30_MariaDB
Hope to see you there!
