Greetings.
Does anyone have a means to contact Axel Thimm and confirm he's ok and if he wishes to maintain his packages in Fedora moving forward? (I've cc'ed him on this as well).
The last commit I see from him was http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/scm-commits/2010-November/516359.ht... Wed Nov 3 2010
I mailed him privately on Feb 20th with no reply.
He has 27 packages with owner/commit/approveacls:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/users/packages/athimm?acls=owner&a...
He has 60 bugs assigned: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&emailtype2...
I have someone very interested in taking over mediawiki-openid and php-pear-Auth-OpenID, so I will probably approve them for those packages soon since they are both very broken and need love, but I wonder how many of the others are in the same state. :(
Hope he's ok and will return to Fedora someday. If someone can get a hold of him, we should at least get co-maintainers for his packages so he doesn't need to worry about them.

Kurt Seifried kurt@seifried.org has fixed up those two packages and I've set them up to co-maintain for now.
Hopefully he will be interested in getting more involved now as well. ;)

I'm more than willing to help, the mediawiki packages appear to have about a half dozen outstanding security bugs =(.
Ouch email me what ones and I will get cracking on them.

As far as "OK" at least, he seems to have been OK on

Me too. ;)
He did send me an email yesterday.
He's alive and ok, but has been busy and unable to have time for Fedora packages right now. He is going to try and go and add-comaintainers where people have requested it in pkgdb. Also, he said it would be ok if I added some co-maintainers for his packages where they are needed.
So, if folks note any of his packages that have critical issues and they would like to co-maintain or help with, please let me know.

Thanks for taking care of the miscared for packages. I have indeed had less time for Fedora in he last months and I need some help with fixing some packages, so comaintainers are very welcome. As I don't know many of the names of the interested people I asked Kevin for advice. :)
The reason for having less time for the Fedora packages I maintain are not that I left Fedoralnad, but that my current free tome resources have become a bit scarce and the release of RHEL 5.6 and 6 have been quite demanding on ATrpms.
I will browse through the bugzillas today (Sunday) and please anyone who is interested in comaintaining anything please send me a PM, thanks!
