So, people on the internet are talking about "AC-3 Freedom Day" being yesterday[1], that is, the last standards-essential patent expired yesterday at midnight. Can we look at allowing AC-3 stuff in Fedora now?

Yes! Nicolas Chauvet started importing liba52 already.

Right now, liba52 is cleared to go in. Other implementations need to go through Fedora Legal.
