Hi. I am want add to repo package openhantek https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1558362 It is oscilloscopes GUI. This application contain binary firmware for some models of USB oscilloscopes. This firmware must be loaded to oscilloscope to work. As I understood it taken from proprietary windows driver.
Can I add this package to Fedora repo? Or it need any additional actions from me?

if the licence of the scope firmware doesn't allow (at least) free distribution, then it's a no-go for Fedora.

I must require comment from manufacturer? Or you can do it as more respectable and english-speaking people?

I'd start from OpenHantek project - let's ask them if they ever tried to contact Hantek for any legal clarifications?

I think the situation is the same as for some Broadcom Wi-Fi chips. If they disallow modification / extraction of these blobs then this won't work.
Maybe better call Hantek directly for their clarification on this matter.
