Hi, Might people be willing to test out howdy: https://github.com/boltgolt/howdy This has been packaged for Fedora and is in COPR: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/luya/howdy/ Howdy uses a convolutional neural network: http://dlib.net/cnn_face_detector.py.html Some explanation is here: https://towardsdatascience.com/cnn-based-face-detector-from-dlib-c3696195e0… In addition to accuracy, speed may be of interest since one of the algorithms makes heavy use of GPU acceleration.
