Advice Needed; Page That Needs Love

Hey All, I'm trying to work through the "Pages That Need Love" ( http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Category:Pages_that_need_love). This week I'm working with this page: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Category:Raw_font_article_material Below are pages that link there: http://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=Category:Obsolete_articles_on_fo… That Category has no pages or media. I went ahead and protected it (admin-only edits). Any loud complaints? sweeping the wiki

(cross-posting to docs@ -- but discussion should be on wiki@. join us if you're interested!) In #fedora-docs today, quaid and I decided that it would be a good idea to have a look at the 50 most viewed wiki pages[1] as well as a random sample of other pages on the wiki so we can create a document for making wiki pages teh awesome in the future, whether they still be old cruft from MoinMoin or newer pages. The lists I got are at: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Ianweller/Wiki_sweep The first one is generated from awstats, and listing them in order from most popular to least; the second is asking the API for 300 random main namespace pages (slightly less than 1% of all of the pages on the wiki) and listing them in alphabetical order. I posted it to the wiki so it would be easier to say "I took this page", as well as making it a lot easier to link to the pages. This is more of a "let's discuss how and where to do it" thread rather than a "go for it" thread. In a couple of weeks when I've graduated I'm going to start seeing that this is done. The main things we need to ask ourselves are: * Where are we documenting our adventure? * Should we add more paegs to the list? Why or why not? * Is this a sane way to go about this? Wiki CSS change to <pre>

Where is the wiki's fedora.css maintained? I have a suggested change: pre { /* whatever is in here already */ margin-top: 0.5ex; margin-bottom: 1.5ex; } This would help the code boxes in the wiki breathe a little, especially where they're surrounded by a list, as often happens. -- Paul W. information in other languages

Hi Guys, after seeing the short RPM tutorial [1], I thought this would be a nice starting point for new-comers to join the Fedora Project. But not for everyone it's easy to have to read technical information in English-only. So I wondered how to deal with translations. Some Chinese articles are now scattered around, but I would expect to also find those on the Fedora wiki; near the original information...
