Why? Isn't that obvious? If there is no use case for removing the running kernel, well, then there's no reason to let a application do so, isn't it?
AFAIU, inside a container you don't need a kernel installed
so what - i do not need "linux-firmware" on any virtual machine as well as none of the physial ones needs the package - my bugreport remove this useless dependency was rejected
so stop this kind of argumentation
