Dear EPEL Dev team,
Could you please put the following Ganglia 3.1.7 packages back to repository:
* ganglia-3.1.7-6.el6.x86_64.rpm
* ganglia-gmetad-3.1.7-6.el6.x86_64.rpm
* ganglia-gmond-3.1.7-6.el6.x86_64.rpm
* ganglia-gmond-python-3.1.7-6.el6.x86_64.rpm
* ganglia-web-3.1.7-6.el6.x86_64.rpm
The reason: our latest product release could not be installed since Ganglia 3.1.7 (3.7.1 is not supported) is being installed by Setup procedure from EPEL repository and now Ganglia 3.1.7 packages are removed from repository.
Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but you probably want to contact the ganglia maintainers directly either via bugzilla.redhat.com or ganglia-owner@fedoraproject.org. But in general, no, once a package has been updated we don't go back unless there is a catastrophic failure. Update in question was here:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2015-5926/ganglia-3.7.1-...
no comments on it before it was pushed.
