Wine now supports cross-compiling

For those not aware (as I was not aware...), Wine 4.8 (May 10, 2019) introduced support to compile some (not all!) Wine DLL and EXE files as Windows PE files instead of ELF files. This has a few pros and cons. Pros: - Matches what Wine is supporting anyway. Loading of PE files. - Uses Mingw-w64 in a larger project. Could boost both projects. Cons: - Debug data is stripped out and dropped on the floor. - Fedora doesn't have any packages with multiple binary formats that I know of. Is this a problem? Luckily this support is optional at this time, but I've already seen a Bugzilla troll point users of distros that are not using this feature back to the distro for support. What do we want to do here? Thanks, Michael

Potential packages to add

I maintain a few packages in my COPR[1] that I need for a project I'm a developer on and I actually produce the Windows installer on my Fedora machine using CMake/NSIS. Thought I would ask if there's interest in doing reviews to get these in Fedora proper: portaudio sndfile speexdsp libsamplerate wxWindows Probably not a lot of general interest but "hamlib" as well, but that's specific to ham radio operators. Mingw environment and toolchain update

Hi I've set up a copr repo with mingw-gcc-9.1.0, mingw-w64-*-6.0.0 and mingw-binutils-2.32 for testing here https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/smani/mingw-gcc9/ <https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/smani/mingw-gcc9/builds/> If there are no objections, I'd be willing to file a F31 in time for the next mass rebuild and bring these into Rawhide. Hi I'd appreciate review of the following three packages: - mingw-python3: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1704258 - mingw-qtkeychain: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1705064 - mingw-qca: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1705065 First one is just the current mingw-python2 package adapted for python3, with patches taken from the corresponding ArchLinux package [1], and tested here [2]. The remaining two are pretty trivial. Happy to review in exchange.
