I'm trying to update a package which now depends on "requests[security]" instead of just "requests".
If I understand https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/PythonExtras correctly there no mechanism right now to pull in "requests[security]" (along with its dependencies) so I need to patch setup.py and (Build)Require the additional packages?

Currently, you need to (Build)Require the additional packages. There should be no need to patch out the "requests[security]" requirement.
