Hi I have volunteered to give the State of the Union for the server working group at the upcoming FLOCK. I need some help in identifying what was done in the last year. What were the new features/efforts in Fedora 23 and 24.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks Mike Wolf

== Fedora 23 == * Added support for deploying server roles within a container (memcached) * I think this was the first release that the Server install media defaulted to XFS rather than ext4 * FreeIPA 4.2 as domain controller * https://www.freeipa.org/page/Releases/4.2.0 * Cockpit 0.79 * Support for Kubernetes * Support for embedding
== Fedora 24 == * Changes to default partition layout (no more /home partition, / uses the first 20GiB and leaves expansion space) * FreeIPA 4.3 * https://www.freeipa.org/page/Releases/4.3.0 * Cockpit 0.103 * storaged replaces udisks
Maybe Stef Walter could chime in on the major Cockpit enhancements in Fedora 23 and 24.
