# F28 Blocker Review meeting
# Date: 2018-04-23
# Time: 16:00 UTC
# Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.freenode.net
Hi folks! We have 2 proposed blockers, 5 proposed freeze exception
issues and 4 accepted blockers for Final to review, so let's have a
review meeting on Monday.
If you have time this weekend, you can take a look at the proposed or
accepted blockers before the meeting - the full lists can be found
here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ .
We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the
Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not
fixed. Information on the release criteria for F28 can be found on the
wiki [0].
For more information about the Blocker and Freeze exception process,
check out these links:

And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting
works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out
the SOP on the wiki:
Have a good weekend and see you on Monday!

Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting on Monday. We're in
Fedora 28 Final freeze now and Go/No-Go is this coming Thursday, so
the focus should be on getting all the Final testing done and blockers
fixed.
If you're aware of anything important we have to discuss this week,
please do reply to this mail and we can go ahead and run the meeting.
Thanks!
There *will* be a blocker review meeting, of course.

Join us on irc.freenode.net in #fedora-meeting-1 for this important
meeting, wherein we shall determine the readiness of the Fedora 28
Final.
The meeting is going to be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 17:00
UTC. Please check the [1] link for your time zone.
Before each public release Development, QA and Release Engineering
meet to determine if the release criteria are met for a particular
release. This meeting is called the Go/No-Go Meeting. Verifying that
the Release criteria are met is the responsibility of the QA Team.
Release Candidate (RC) availability and good QA coverage are
prerequisites for the Go/No-Go meeting. If you have any bug on the
list, please help us with Beta release. If we won't be ready by
Thursday, we will use this meeting to review blockers and decide what
to do.
In the meantime, please keep also an eye on the Fedora 28 Final
Blocker list [2].
For more details about this meeting please follow the [3] link.

Hey All,
First of all, I would like to thank all those who have shown interest
in testing Fedora and making it better.
We saw a lot of new faces in the test day(s) and introduction emails to welcome you all,
here's is what we have for you.
We are going to have an onboarding call,
We will focus on helping the new contributors to start contributing right away.
The meeting will be a video call, with an 'Etherpad' for text notes and chat.
The agenda is will be shared in Etherpad and is designed to ensure that newcomers
can follow along and make the most of the call without any pre-requisites.
But for that to happen, we need to fix a time and here's a poll link[1]
where we would like all the interested folks to vote in until 2018-04-28.
