Hola!
We have the Fedora 29 i18n Test Day coming up on 2018-09-04.
The intent behind the test day will be to test Gnome App and other system features with multiple keyboard layout.
One will require to download the latest image and then test it as indicated on the wiki [0].
As always you can interact with the community on #fedora-test-day@freenode.
If you have time, please stop by!

Hi folks! So, sorry I did not schedule or cancel a blocker review
meeting for this week - I kinda overlooked it, and also thought there
were fewer blockers to discuss than there actually are.
Problem is, I can't really run a blocker meeting any other day this
week either, as I'll be at Open Source Summit all week. So, I'm gonna
suggest two options. If someone else wants to pick a day and schedule
and run a blocker review meeting - please go ahead and do that! See the
SOP: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:SOP_Blocker_Bug_Meeting .
Otherwise, can folks who usually participate in blocker review please
vote on the proposed blockers in-bug? Just add a comment to the bug
with your vote. You can see the lists here:
https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/milestone/29/beta/buglist
thanks a lot!

Hi all,
Today's an important day on the Fedora 29 schedule[1], with several
significant cut-offs. First of all today is
the Bodhi activation point [2]. That means that from now all Fedora 29
packages must be submitted to
updates-testing and pass the relevant requirements[3] before they will be
marked as 'stable' and moved to the
fedora repository.
Today is also the Beta freeze[4]. This means that only packages which fix
accepted blocker or freeze exception
bugs[5][6] will be marked as 'stable' and included in the Beta composes.
Other builds will remain in updates-
testing until the Beta release is approved, at which point the Beta freeze
is lifted and packages can move to
'stable' as usual until the Final freeze.
Finally, Today is the '100% code complete deadline' Change Checkpoint[5],
meaning that Fedora 29 Changes
must now be code complete, meaning all the code required to enable to the
new change is finished. The level
of code completeness is reflected as tracker bug state ON_QA. The change
does not have to be fully tested
by this deadline'.
Finally, today is also the Software String freeze[7], which means that
strings marked for translation in Fedora-
translated projects should not now be changed for Fedora 29.

Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting on Monday. I don't
think there's anything critical to talk about. I'd actually like to
look at F29 Change status, but we should probably organize some sort
of review on the mailing list before having a meeting; hard to get
through all of that in a one hour meeting.
If you're aware of anything important we have to discuss this week,
please do reply to this mail and we can go ahead and run the meeting.
Thanks!

# F29 Blocker Review meeting
# Date: 2018-08-20
# Time: 16:00 UTC
# Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.freenode.net
Hi folks! We have 8 proposed Beta blockers and 1 proposed Beta freeze
exception to review, so let's have a review meeting tomorrow.
If you have time this weekend, you can take a look at the proposed or
accepted blockers before the meeting - the full lists can be found
here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ .
We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the
Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not
fixed. Information on the release criteria for F29 can be found on the
wiki [0].

And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting
works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out
the SOP on the wiki:

Have a good night and see you tomorrow!

Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting on Monday. We'll
definitely run a meeting the following week, but a lot of folks will
be traveling after Flock, so I don't think we'd have sufficient
turnout for Monday.
If you're aware of anything important we have to discuss this week,
please do reply to this mail and we can go ahead and run the meeting.
Thanks!

Hey All,
Tuesday 2018-08-21 will be Kernel Test Day[1] Test Day! As Fedora 29
will be using 4.18, we want to test it across all arcs and different
variants of F27, F28 and F29.
So this is an important Test Day! Test Day will focus on testing the new
kernel.
As always, the event will be in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC.

Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting tomorrow (today?),
as no-one seemed to have anything urgent for the agenda in response to
my other mail. So, I get to sleep in!

Greetings testers!
We haven't met for a few weeks, but I don't have anything very specific
for the agenda, and Monday's a public holiday here, so I'm not sure I
want to get up early to run a 'why not' meeting :)
So, please reply to this mail if you would definitely like us to meet
up on Monday, especially if you have anything specific you'd like us to
discuss. I'll check back in in a day or two and send a further mail to
say whether or not the meeting is on.
Thanks folks!
