With that in mind, I'd like to take a couple of workshops to help interested parties learn the tools before the final hack session, so that we can get some actual work done at the event. A workshop a week should be fine: Week #1: Introduction to ROS - what is ROS, why it'll be good to package it up for Fedora Week #2: Introduction to RPM packaging - a basic introduction where we'll walk through the hello world package Week #3: Introduction to SCL and ROS packaging Week #4: Q&A session The FUDCon is still 7 weeks away. That gives us enough time. Please forward this e-mail to the regional mailing lists, and anyone interested in the topics, *especially* people that plan to attend the FUDCon and contribute to Fedora as package maintainers. Actually I like Prima's Temple of Heaven design, as I've seen it as a symbol on many stuffs. Tiananmen design may be pedantic(yeah think about some "special" political factors), it would make my face grow solemn when I see it. Foreigners, you can take a look at the Beijing government English online: http://www.ebeijing.gov.cn/ How to stress the symbolic importance of the picture is important, I hope you can grab some ones you like and tell us, then we can start a vote of the submissions to choose the final by the public. Sorry,I forgot that I should use English. I think The Great Wall isn't a suitable choice , since it has been regarded as a symbol of the whole Chinese nation. FUDCon 2014 is held at Beijing , so The Temple of Heaven may be a better choice . Well, forgive my poor English . [FZH] [FUDCon Beijing 2014] Logo/T-shirt

Here is an initial draft of the tee [1]. Source is at [2]. I like the Terracotta warriors so I am using an archer's bust from it (though location is not in Beijing). I shall be doing more drafts and the logo is also underway. Its just a quick draft - nothing polished. Feel free to suggest/make changes and give inputs for the artwork. The tickets for FUDCon Beijing related artwork are at [3]. Most of new versions shall be posted on the trac.
