Hi all,
I stated chipping in on another thread and realised that I haven't really properly introduced myself, so here goes...
I've been lurking on the fedora server-wg mailing list for a long while and, thus far, failed to prioritize my time to get engaged and make contributions. Going forward I wish to roll up my sleeves and rectify this...
So hello! my name is Tim Rees and I'm located in Frankfurt, Germany. I've a background of engineering and support in the enterprise, skills are predominantly in the realms of Servers and Linux. I'm currently working for a well known provider of enterprise linux and based day to day at a partner location, this is @ SAP Walldorf.
My goal as part of this is to contribute to the sever spin in general, however I would like to also focus on a virtualization host role. The requirement, feasibility and scope is of course yet to be determined - but from a previous mail thread their seems to be some support for this.
In the short term I'm going to start digging into the defining characteristics of the server roles and what the wg criteria is, as well as testing the existing IPA one. Please feel free to ping me if you have any questions, timrees on Freenode, @reestr on Twitter. I'll update details on the Fedora wiki in due course.
Cheers, Tim

Welcome, Timothy! :)

This is my most common use case for Fedora (as a KVM host), so we have something in common! Feel free to reach out anytime -- I'm 'mhayden' on Freenode.
