Hi all, as you all can see and read in http://desktoplinux.com/articles/AT5816278551.html we are ranged behind all other ... What should / can / must we do, to get more acceptance on the user-side? Hi, I've been hanging around the docs project for the past six months or so, so I already know several folks on this list. I wanted to send a note saying that I signed up to be an ambassador. In addition to contributing to the docs project I do simple things, like encourage (and help) friends and relatives to use fedora and open source software, blog about Fedora (how to's, updates, etc) and hand out DVDs wherever I go. As my email indicates, I work for Red Hat. I do technical support here. I might be slow getting started but I'd love to hear about what other folks are doing and I'm open to any ideas. I will be reviewing the meeting minutes shortly.... Thanks, Sam

Hi everyone! I've noticed this for sometime now that i am unable to dedicate true myself for this Fedora Ambassdor program for all what it demands because of my exams and stuff... I would like to step down from being the co-ordinator for the FreeMedia India Program and let someone who's able to work on it be the co-ordinator... As a matter of fact, i havent updated the FreeMedia India Page for this month yet... and i hope to do that very soon... Guys am sorry for this backlash..... I would surely point out me being a Senior Undergraduate student right now as my time consuming work...... Fedora Core in French Magazine Linux + DVD

Hello, just to inform everybody that i have been asked by the Linux + DVD magazine [1] to write news about Fedora every month. I have already written 2 articles (of 4500 characters) each about FC6 new release and the help provided by the Unity Project to Kadischi team. They will be published in the November and December issues. I hope this can give ideas and motivate other ambassadors to write about Fedora in magazines. You can even earn something ! I also want to add that Linux + DVD ask me if I could find someone to take care about the special issue of Linux + DVD which will be dedicated to FC6. I asked Johan Cwiklinski [2] if he was interested in and he accepted the offer. He is well know among French Ambassadors for the outstanding work made to translate the wiki [3]. Folks, Currently we have eight candidates running for seven seats on Famsco -- I am glad to say that all the candidates are committed Ambassadors and I am honored to have them on the ballot with me.
