Thanks for the kind words. Credit for the success of this event should really be given to Magie, who coordinated the celebration of 15 teams in 7 countries in her capacity as a member of the Linux Day Advisory Council (http://linuxday.org/). She was also the team leader for the Linux Day celebration at the National Computer Center (http://linuxday.bluepoint.com.ph/).

I offer my humble report[1] for the Linux Day Celebration we had last Saturday at the Philippine National Computer Center. Additional reports are forthcoming, especially the pictures. My personal takeaway
- http://devtree.org/ - teaching Open Source to preparatory, grade
school and high school levels in the Asia-Pacific region. Yummy!

Thanks for the excellent effort and please congratulate the team. I was not able to attend (and could not get a video greeting sent as well :-( ).
Nice to hear of the DevTree efforts as well.

Thanks Engels. :)
We'll upload photos as soon as the BLUE Linux Day documentation team from the Department of Science & Technology - Advanced Science & Technology Institute submits the event's photo and video coverage.
Credit also goes to Greg Swift and Constantin Drabo for initiating Linux Day celebrations in their respective countries. I'm sure these Fedora Contributors advocated the use of Fedora Linux ;) http://linuxday.org/index.php?category=2011
Kudos to Engels too for properly addressing the Red Hat-Oracle-Fedora issue that was raised during Q&A about his "Fedora & systemd" talk.
We're also looking forward to the upcoming Software Freedom Day on Sept. 17. http://sfd.bluepoint.com.ph/ Bluepoint Foundation has been securing a booth and a speaking slot for Fedora every year. Hope this year Fedora will still be part of the success of Bluepoint-PH held SFDs. http://softwarefreedomday.org/en/competition/winners-2009

I couldn't agree more to that. Magie has done an awesome job orchestrating the whole thing while our lead vocalist is certainly Engels. :)
Onward to SFD!
