We have a wiki page for other events calendars: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Linux_Events
I added http://fossevents.org/ to that page. But the page could use some Ambassador's attention, and this would be a good task for a newer Ambassador who's looking for a way to help.
It would take maybe a half-hour or so for someone to go through all the links on that page and do some upkeep:
* See if links work, fix or remove as necessary
* If some of these sites are read-only calendars, break the page up to separate out and highlight sites where Ambassadors can add event information for Fedora events
Good work, I've been interested in Linux Events lately. This is a great starting point.
*The following produced 404 / Not Found:* http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/flash/ http://www.linuxfordevices.com/events/
* The following needed modifying:* http://en.opensuse.org/Events Updated to: http://news.opensuse.org/category/events/event-calendar/
http://fridge.ubuntu.com/event/ Updated to: http://fridge.ubuntu.com/calendar
*May I also suggest the page provides a link to Linux User Groups:* https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/LinuxUserGroups

Carl,
Please feel free to make these changes directly on the wiki page. The wiki is designed as a collaborative tool, for everyone to edit. Don't worry about making it perfect. And if you make a mistake, the history of the page is stored and you can undo it.

Thank you Maria and Carl! Were there any of those calendars where we can't add events? If I'm an Ambassador who wants to promote an event, will all of the calendars on that list allow me to do so?
Hi again
Almost all, except Ubuntu and debian events :)
I have been in all latam events (flisol and cnsl) and also some events that are world wide (barcamp, softwarefreedomday ) promoting fedora, so we should only need news from other ambassadors to explore what are the possibilities to join those events and spread fedora.

I just added two link for LATAM:
- Libroblanco list events in Spanish mostly form LATAM. There is a link to submit events.
- Linux Tour is a Nicaraguan web site where we list almost all FOSS events happening in Nicaragua. This is a wiki, edition is limited to account holders, but anyone can create an account. I personally list all activities related with fedora in this site.

In France we have the FOSS Agenda (Agenda du Libre) : http://www.agendadulibre.org/
I added it to the page.

In the future fedora-uk.org will be able to have events listed for the UK. This will include both Fedora and Linux events hopefully. Site is under contruction at the moment, so ill add it once completed.

I have added Open Source Observatory and Repository http://www.osor.eu/eventsto the EMEA list. I will add more once I find them.
All the best,

currently in malaysia we are using this to post events : http://fedora.foss.org.my/events .. but it might not be kosher as its powered by plone (which cant run on fedora's python2.6) and googlemaps ..
