The links [4] and [5] you provided lead me to a page that says "sorry can't display as page has been marked as private", etc.

Should be alright now. The temporary glitch was due to wiki migration from moinmoin to mediawiki.

It's just not working. every time I type /msg nickserv register <password> in the irc dialog, it says "no such nick or channel. I even tried typing NickServ.

Hi Dipanjan try this , first type /nick [ur nick name] then type /msg nickserv register <password> if no one else has already used the nick , it will be assigned to u , and the next time u need to confirm it u can use the password !
