So can we consider ourselves "ambassador upstream" then? ;)

I'd say yes. And if I'm right, does that mean I can stop swimming against the current and finally spawn?
Congrats to OpenSUSE.

Congrats to OpenSUSE.

Likewise, this is a good sign of further maturity for the OpenSUSE project. When any FOSS project succeeds, we all benefit.

It works both ways - gives the Fedora Project a chance to see what new plays can be added to the playbook.

Could not have said that better myself, John.
Indeed, this is a sign of the maturity of our Ambassadors program. I'd be curious to see how openSUSE later incorporates what we're working on now in other areas, like Ambassador mentorship (Joerg Simon's work with FAmSCo comes to mind). As a vanguard, Fedora should always be looking ahead to how we can improve our project and processes, and that should naturally include looking at other project's refinements of our innovations. My hope is that we will continue to lead in this space, though, and further innovate in the way we build communities worldwide.

Sure :)
That's a great news. When results come, people follow the model. That's definitely a good news for Fedora Ambassadors and all the Open Source community.
Ambassadoring is a really people-friendly way to get in touch with people: it deeply represents our philosophy and give the possibility to spread our passion to everyone, everywhere.
Sure, great news!
