Hi all,
I think you guys are already familiar with Fedocal, the calendar application of Fedora community [1]. It is nice and many subprojects are already using it, including the ambassadors group. Now I want to let the weekly IRC meeting on #fedora-zh of Fedora Chinese User Group also use the calendar, but find no suitable calendars to add the meeting in.
I talked with one guy of infra team on IRC, who suggested to add the meeting under the ambassadors calendar. What do you guys in the ambassadors group think of the idea?
Personally I prefer to add a new calendar with the name "Local Communities", and add local community meetings there. The possible issue is that I am not sure how many local communities will use it indeed. So I'd like to hear your inputs on this proposal too.
Regards,

If you think it's better, just do it.
If we later find it inappropriate or inconvenient, we can always change it.
+1 go ahead. On Jul 4, 2014 12:32 PM, "Alick Zhao" alick9188@gmail.com wrote:

To me if the ambassadors calendar is not for storing ambassadors meeting, local or not, then I find it only so much useful.
Events have their own calendar anyway which is the one we can expose to the public while the ambassador calendar is only for ... ambassadors and knowing then local communities have their meeting sounds like a) not a problem, b) could even be useful in some time.
My thoughts :) Pierre

Given the feedback so far, I think adding it to ambassadors calendar is more appropriate. We can change it if more local communities pop up later on.

Hi,
I've created the meeting [1] and edit the reminder setting to send emails to the Chinese mailing list automatically. But we haven't received such reminder email. Can someone look into it and tell what is going wrong?

Hi,
I have received the email with the error and I will look into this soon but I am currently on my way to Flock and thus won't be able to fix this before next week or the week after.
Thanks for cc'ing me on the email, feel free to create a ticket for tracking purposes :)
