Hi folks!
As part of the work I've been doing to add some fit & finish to F13 in these final days before release, with Jon McCann's help I put together a little spec for cleaning up firstboot a little bit.

Be put in that picture and a graphic tablet picture. As far as I know Fedora is known for the graphic software implemented. I will propose one. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/File:Firstboot-sidebar-f13-mythcat.png What do you think?

So there isn't enough room for the picture anymore now that we've combined the welcome screen and license information screens.

Mizmo,

I would just point one thing, the image displays something like a "comet", it's trajectory seems to be descent like it is going to crash. I would invert it to make it look the opposite way, like going into oblivion/infinity/sky, instead of coming down towards the mining-full earthlings :)
Taking that it's pretty nice.

Ahhh, great point - we don't want folks to think it's the war of the worlds lol.
I flipped 'em. If you shift-reload the page you'll see :)

Máirín,
I've addressed to you as "mizmo", didn't wanted to be disrespectful, but easier to type than the correct form of your first name. Just because I'm lazy.
GJ, 24 million people won't feel afraid of the world's end in 2012 due to a falling piece of rock from the sky... I believe they can 'rock it' in a safer way now during install :)
Peace,

Why be so precise, stressed? Must be comet? Must be ... who knows what? Look at my picture ... is simplistic and express it. Air, freedom, simplicity, expressions = clouds Why should one person to put his signature to the entire project? Let people express themselves, there is nothing wrong with that for you, bad for them if they do it incorrectly.

Have you guys considered that the deadline for final POT for software has already passed? If you guys want to push this in with brand new text, you really need to talk to the L10n teams about it first. They do allow exceptions, and I know that you want to be fair to our translation community teams.

Legal notices don't get translated
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N/FAQ#Should_I_translate_legal_notices.3F
The only concern here then is the header and the small paragraph on the top. I'm trying to figure out to do to put in a request for that.

I saw your note to the trans@ list -- thanks for doing that. It seems like a pretty small amount of work and my bet is that you'll get a few +1s and this won't be a big deal. We went through this process already for the website revamp for get.fp.o, so it was clearly fresh in my mind. :-)

It looks like we've got support on the trans@lists.fpo list!

Excellent. I also pinged #fedora-qa about it and James Laska said he had seen the page and discussion thread. QA and Rel-Eng would be concerned about functional changes more than string changes. If it's just a Glade UI change, might not be a hurdle there either.
