Here's your chance to become a package maintainer at Fedora!

Hi folks, In case you weren't aware, one of the easier ways of getting sponsored as a fedora package maintainer is by helping co-maintain packages[1]. We've recently been working on packing up stuff for the fedora-medical SIG[2]. I've just finished updating two new applications: freemedforms[3] and freediams[4]. Since I'm a little low on time, and will be in the foreseeable future (I begin a 2 years research course in July!), I would like some help maintaining these. If you're interested, please ping me! I'll help you learn packaging, and you can then pack up other stuff too. You don't have to wait for folks to request co-maintainers. If you use a tool and you want to help maintain it, just email the current maintainer and let him know (I doubt any maintainer will turn down some help :)). Hi everyone, I just want to introduce myself. I'm Jayson Rowe and I'm a Server Administrator/Developer by trade for a software company in South Carolina that creates software for Churches, Schools and other organizations. I'm fairly new to Fedora, and the community, and I'm very happy to be here. So far I've become an apprentice with the Infrastructure team, and I'm working to become a Fedora Ambassador. I'm interested in not only becoming more involved where I can but helping others get involved as well. If I need a skill that I don't already have, I'm a quick and eager student, so I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks! Jayson Rowe

changed FAS email addr - lists autoupdate?

Hello, I changed my fedora account system email address. I have manually re-signed up for this list since I manually signed up before. However, I'm also on qa, bugs, maybe another one or two - I don't *think* I manually signed up for them. Will they "auto-update" to my new address based on what groups I'm a member of or should I track them all down and re-sign up with my new address? Thanks, David
