Hello Fedora Community! Hi, I'm Harsh I'm an efficient graphic designer, backend coder. I am not scared of using the terminal, writing shell scripts nor touch the database. DevOps enthusiast. Always excited to learn anything involving Software Development, Networking, Computer Science, and Open Source. - Final year Bachelors of Technology undergraduate student-focused in Computer Science. - Quick learner with strategic thinking skills and a creative mindset. - I'm open to new challenges and would be happy to be a part of a team that wants to bring changes. - Fascinated with Open Source Software Development, DevOps and how it shapes the modern Software Development process. Rachitt Shah | New Contributor to Fedora.

Hello Fedora Community! I'm Rachitt Shah,and I reside in India. I made the switch to Linux about a year ago,and I love to explore new distros. I run Fedora Workstation as my main OS,and I'm trying to build my own kernel from scratch as well. I was really impressed by the breath of the organization and the huge amount of SIGs for almost each topic. I have been a contributor at KDE for their Season of KDE 2021 under the Calamares installer where I contribute to the docs,and I have tried to help new open sourcers via Script Winter of Code(http://swoc.tech/) where I help new-comers to pair with Open Source projects. I am the head of documentation at Canvasbird(https://canvasboard.live/home). I am currently exploring the Fedora ecosystem,and I hope to contribute to Fedora for GSoC and beyond. I was along interested to contribute in the roles of content writer for docs,OS development and Ambassadors/CommsOps if needed by the community. My name is Pawel Zelawski, I live in Poland. I’m a free and open source software enthusiast. As I haven’t been working as any kind of IT specialist I’ve decided to spend my free time as productive as possible and in 2018 I started my journey with Linux and other FOSS software. Since then I’ve been learning how to use Linux in the most efficient way for me and how things work behind the scene. I found myself to feel better and be more productive with terminal applications than GUI one. I prefer to use Tailing Windows Managers instead of full DE and for daily productivity I use NeoMutt, Newsboat and Irssi. In 2019 I started to play with Docker, Docker Swarm and Ansible technologies using a couple of virtual machines and my small home lab. The truth is that I like tinkering and going further with new areas I face challenges and I try new approaches to optimize time spend on things that can be automated. I'm proponent of open solutions and I encourage people around me to try them out. My approach is: use whatever works for you but if there is an open source project that meets your expectation than why not use it and have more control over your data and privacy. My first experience with Linux was years ago and I started with Slackware, then I went through various distributions but finally I ended up with a couple I use on a daily basis like Debian, CentOS, Fedora and Arch. I would like to support Fedora Project wherever it's possible using various skills I learned in my professional life as well as on my self development technological path. I've been working as an IT Project Manager for many years very close to software development processes and managing infrastructure. I was always exposed to clients as project or initiative representative so I have experience with both internal and external type of work. I can help with organizing more complex initiatives with engagement of various team members across different time zones and locations. I have a few years of non commercial experience with Linux systems from administration point of view, so for sure I can use it for simple technical tasks or for interviews, blog posts where such level of technical knowledge is sufficient. With my commercial clients I've been also acting as bridge between business and technical teams which was possible because of understanding of both perspectives. I worked on both design and product release phases which allows me to effectively translate technical values into business / user benefits. I would like to dedicate part of my free time to work with Fedora community, participate in initiatives and use it also as opportunity to grow in areas I didn't have chance to work on. I'm mostly interested of being Fedora Ambassador. I'm aware of Ambassadors Revamp initiative that is happening now and because of this I would appreciate any suggestion where to start considering current setup of Ambassadors structure. I'm already on mailing lists, pagure.io, I have FAS account: pawelzelawski and I follow RSS feed from Fedora Magazine, Blog and Fedora Planet. Unfortunately I wasn't able to create my wiki page as probably someone has to add me to one more group in FAS account. -- Regards Pawel

Hi guys, I'm Mauro, from Italy! I'll start by introducing what I do, then why "I'm here". I've been a Software Developer for four years until September 2020, mainly on Java stack; some months ago I moved to a Sysadmin/Devops Engineering role. I work with different kinds of technologies at the moment, from "classic" Linux server management via plain bash scripting, Docker containers and Puppet/Foreman provisioning to cloud services (AWS). Some tools for the last are Ansible, Packer and AWS Cloudformation. Of course I work (love) a lot git since I'm dealing every day with different repositories (I'm the classic nerd guy at work that helps everyone dealing with git, trying to get everyone to use the cli!) and use a lot of Jenkins by working on pipeline jobs, from automated tasks to software deployment to infrastructure provisioning. I love working on new processes or improving existing ones and documenting the whole, sharing those informations and knowledge with others. Finally why I'm here. I've been passionate about Open Source, GNU/Linux in particular, since University and always wanted to contribute to it without never understanding how. I was a member of the LUG team of Rome, so that allowed me to help others. Now after some years of working experience and with the Covid situation that it's messing around all the world, I decide to join the Fedora community and give back something to it. Just to recap, my main area could be: - Cloud - Infrastructure - Development, maybe to something really near to Fedora infrastructure - I'll add this but I still have to figure it out as "area", packages Thanks, Mauro

Hello, Fedora community. My name is Hozan. I'm from Turkey and currently a computer programmer, I am working on IT special in a private company in Gaziantep/Turkey. I have been using Fedora for 2 years. I want to join and contribute to the Fedora project family. I'm mostly interested in PHP, NodeJS, JavaScript, python. Hello, Fedora community, I am Mrinal Kumar. Currently, I am a sophomore at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. I am a big fan of the Fedora project and am looking forward to being a part of such an incredible community. I have a firm grasp of languages like C, C++, Python, Java, Javascript, Rust. I have done quite a few projects on web-development using frameworks like React-js, Django, Django-Rest-Framework. I am a full-stack developer at the Information Management Group, IIT Roorkee, and have contributed to its open-source project Omniport.
