Insight/Drupal authentication

Toshio Kuratomi and the Infrastructure team kindly got a FakeFAS instance up and working for us. The old database is gone, so if you want to work on Insight you'll need to recreate your user there. I recommend the following: * Use the same username you have in "real" FAS. * Use a DIFFERENT password since the security of FakeFAS is not guaranteed. * For your email address, I recommend something like "myname+fakefas(a)myemailhost.com" so that you'll know when you receive something from FakeFAS vs. "real" FAS. For instance, I have it set to email "stickster+fakefas" at gmail. (Those of you who know even more about email than I will know that this is a time-honored trick for filtering mail.) Once you're in there, ping me on IRC and I'll add you to the 'cmsadmin' group, which is invite only to prevent abuse/spam. -- Paul W. Vacation outage & plans

I'm going to be on vacation (PTO + holiday) starting this Saturday, until January 4. I will not be without internet, but I'll be spending less time at a console so I can do stuff with my family and relax after a very busy year. :-) I'm planning to run the Insight meeting tomorrow per usual, but for the two weeks following I'll likely need a substitute. Is anyone interested in taking over this role for the Dec 23 and Dec 30 meetings? -- Paul

Insight package review tracker

Legacy Zikula Fedora Insight tickets
