Hi all,
I took a first pass on writing documentation about the responsibilities,
duration, and selection process for the D&I Advisor to the Fedora
Council. Feedback is welcome:
https://pagure.io/fedora-diversity/pull-request/186
This will close out a long-standing action item for the team and also
sets a precedent for how we could document or write about other roles on
the team (e.g. "Team Lead" or PM, FWD Organizer, etc.).
I'd like to merge this Pull Request after getting two or three reviews
from different team members. There is not a rush to get this merged, but
it would be nice to get this published by the end of November.
Thanks all!

Hi all,
I want to highlight the CHAOSS Project's Diversity & Inclusion Event
Badging program:
https://chaoss.community/diversity-and-inclusion-badging/
This initiative is aimed at recognizing and supporting the excellent
work being done at events with respect to D&I. In particular, the
program puts CHAOSS metrics into practice, particularly recognizing and
supporting work with respect to:
* Event Code of Conduct
* Diversity Access Tickets
* Speaker Demographics
* Attendee Demographics
* Family Friendliness (for in-person events)
Are you organizing an upcoming event? We hope your event would be
willing to participate in the program to receive a badge to represent
your efforts to create an inclusive and welcoming space. Participation
includes:
* Filling out the request form at:
https://chaoss.community/diversity-and-inclusion-badging/
* Responding to questions that reviewers may have regarding your
application
The Badging Program review process is done in the open. The CHAOSS team
does this to provide a transparent and equitable process for all
(https://github.com/badging/event-diversity-and-inclusion).
I wanted to pass this along. I can answer some questions about this
effort if anyone has them, but I might give referral somewhere else if
you have detailed questions (or want to participate with this work!).

Hello Fedora D&I,
This ML thread is related to ticket #153 at the D&I on Pagure. Ticket #153 was created by the Fedora Ambassadors Revamp Task Force in order to ask from the D&I team to conduct a community survey that will help highlight what is that makes the current ambassadors stay in the project and what are the current trends. The survey will help to collect more information on what works best for the ambassadors and what are potential blockers for them.

Here is the Etherpad link with the survey's questions. Please have a look at the questions and share your thoughts with us.
Thank you,
Mariana
