Hello guys, My name is Domingo Becker and I have been actively working for the Fedora Project since late 2006. [1] I use Fedora since FC1, and before, I've been using RH Linux. Why I ended up here is because of infrastructure ticket number 2389, about Transifex. [2] Because of that, I became a Fedora packager, and now, with the sysadmin rights to help with the upgrade of Transifex in t.fp.o. I want to publicly thank to Toshio for his confidence in me, and for his help in the process. Since I joined this group, I'm receiving a lot of mails that teaches me how sysadmin people work in large companies. I really appreciate it too much all the new things I'm learning. I'm very proud to belong to this select group of people working for Fedora infrastructure. thoughts for a mail forwarding nagios check

Not sure if we already have one of these but I was thinking about it after the thing on monday with the forwards being screwed up. a test account is setup pointing to an imap server somewhere. we send an email to the account(a)fp.o every 10 minutes. The mail contains a uuid generated for each mail. the script checks to see if there is a mail in the imap folder containing that uuid. If not it starts a nagios warning. Surely someone else has written this test already, right? if not - does someone want to work on it? It's a specific thing to test and a finite project to work on, i think. -sv

going to move publictest from ibiblio to osuosl01 to clean up the ibiblio host. Currently I see that abadger1999, ricky and akistler have projects on the system. A) Are they still in use? RFR sponsor for Upstream Release Monitoring wanted

Hi, I would like to ask if someone would sponsor me to host Upstream Release Monitoring[0] on a Infrastructure machine. To host this, an account with cron and unrestricted internet access would be needed and some python packages. The accound would need to store a plain text Red Hat bugzilla password with fedorabugs privileges, therefore everyone with root access to that box (or the host of the virtual machine, if it is one) should be allowed to know it and have at least the same bugzilla privileges. I would prefer some Fedora or at least a RHEL 6 machine to have some more up to date python available. If anyone would sponsor this request, I will write up a formal Request For Resources[1]. Hi All, I'm Marlon Guao, and I would also like to extend my appreciation to the great Linux Community by extending my hand. I'm currently working as a Level 3 Unix/Linux System Administrator at Hewlett-Packard. I've been using Linux since year 2000, i'm familiar to some of the Linux distros namely, Redhat, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS. I also do have knowledge to Unix's (HP-UX, Solaris and AIX) but im more into Linux( particularly Redhat/Fedora). I'm very much interested in helping the fedora community. Thanks.
