Hi all,
I would like to start doing this asap, so far i just added my name in the scheadule.
Can you guys give me an idea, of the actual goal to be accomplished with the finished page?! I know its to unify the look, and according to the current draft "The Fedora Infrastructure Administration homepage provides lists for all the infrastructure pieces and gives links to them". So where can i get this information from? i'm one of the new guys so i'm still trying to integrate and to have an idea of all the different 'pieces' we have in Infrastructure.
So any help with this information would be helpfull.
Thanks, Paulo

Well, the admin.fp.o site has become sort of a portal to a great deal of our infrasturcture. But most of it is totally for the RH dev's. So various links to our sites, what they are, what we are, who to contact, when the ticketing system should be used, how to get there. Just an admin.fp.o welcome page really.

wasn't part of the unifying process also to create some way to deploy a css stylesheet on the different parts of our infrastructure. give it all a common fedora look and feel. nagios, ORTS, cacti, BackupPC as well as the common gateway and info.

I forgot all about the style sheet. Paulo, how much work do you think it will be to create a css for our infrastructure based off the wiki css?
-Mike
no idea, but shouldn't be that hard to create a simple CSS. I've already created several for previous websites i made. Usually depends on the amount of 'style' you want to add.
Btw i already started working on the draft, so any comments would be apreciated. http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/IndexAdmin

litle doubt regarding Bugzilla:
In the Fedora Infrastructure CVS page: "you can file bugs and submit patches against Fedora Infrastructure using Bugzilla"
In the bugs section of the Infrastructure page: "Bugs related to Fedora Infrastructure are tracked in Fedora's ticketing system"
So where do we track what ?! Should this read something like: Fedora Distributions -> Bugzilla Fedora Infrastructure -> OSTR
Is this it ?
(Sorry Rino, replied to you and not the list... always forget about reply all - bad me!)

ok this is cosmetic but:
1. should we use "defect" instead of "bug"? 2. i find this odd "Engineers have many responsibilities and will get to your defect in due time."
it could read as "... and will get to the bug/s you have submitted in due time."
my 2 cents.

Looks good, I might get rid of some stuff like the getting started. Thats more for wanting-to-be-members. The admin.fp.o site is more of a portal for our users. Good job though Paulo, go ahead and move it to 'done' and let us know what else you'd like to work on ;-)
