Just a heads up, I pushed git-1.7.4.1 to epel-5-testing recently¹. I don't expect this to cause any problems for infrastructure, but it is worth keeping a close watch on pkgs and other systems once it is updated.
AFAIK, epel-testing is not enabled by default since infra commit eceac13, but testing on any publictest systems or by interested parties would be most welcome.
