As previously announced, I plan to held classroom lesson.
Mark your calendar: 11th May 2005 #fedora-classroom on irc.freenode.net 15:00 UTC (that is 17:00 CET, 11:00 EDT)
The lesson is intended primary for Fedora Infrastructure members (or apprentices).
I will try to cover following topics: * what is Fedora Cloud (spoiler: our OpenStack instance) * which machines are used * where is the documentation * where are the playbooks and which files are important and where it is stored in ansible.git * which services are enabled and why * how they are installed * where are the weak parts, where you must be careful

This is kind of confusing, because Fedora Cloud is also https://getfedora.org/en/cloud/. And _within_ that, we already have a ton of confusion about the names of various things. Don't get me at all wrong -- I'm very excited to have the OpenStack instance updated -- but... maybe we could find a different name for this installation?

We have been calling it the Fedora Cloud long before there was a Fedora Cloud product. Could you guys change your name :)?

Well, I have always been calling it the Fedora Infrastructure Private Cloud, but I'm open to other names. ;)

Heh. Kevin's isn't catchy, but it's much less ambiguous. :)

I'm partial to Fedora Open Stack Services, for FOSS for short.
... I'll see myself out.

That's Fedora Lenticular Open Stack Services... [You must have a cloud type in your service... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenticular_cloud]

How about Machine Agnostic Cloud on Open Stack (MACOS)?
Guess there won't be many people left for this conversation soon :)

Or Fedora Private Cloud - FPC in short :)
/me hides too
Do we really want to make a whole Fedora Unified Service Solution around this?
After all this is only the Fedora Ecstatic Solution for Clound orientation (FESco)
And here I go as well :)

It occurs to me that infrastructure probably also has The Fedora Server, although I'm not sure which one.
:)
Cool, looking forward to learn about it. Cheers ;)
