Improving the get-fedora page

I would really love to improve the "get-fedora" static page. Here's a thumbnail; Toshio told me at FUDCon that this is something that's eminently obtainable. (I think he actually said something more typically can-do like "we can do that," but I like using lots of syllables because it sounds all smart 'n' stuff.) In short, it would be great to see the page shortened so it fits on a single average browser page, with a set of plain English questions that lead the user to the right link for downloading. The questions need not be two-answer only, but instead elicit the best choice for the user. Image for super-CD (800MB) target not for DVD as signed. Probably all live images signed as DVD will be burned only on hi-cap CD. Cheers Adam

Confusing website!

Dudes, I've installed Linux before, a few years ago now though. Now I want Fedora and so I go to http://fedoraproject.org/get-fedora. I see 3 options with no explanation!! The website looks great, but please provide at least a little information on the downloading page about what the differences are between "Install Media", "Fedora Desktop Live Media" and "Fedora KDE Live Media". I'll be conservative and get the "Install Media" because that's what I want to do... install. But I'll be pissed if it end up meaning I miss out on a GUI or something stupid like that and have to download again. Meanwhile, I'll continue to hunt around the docs for an explanation - but it would've be so much nicer to get a 1 or 2 sentence explanation of each on the download page!! Dave

Censorship?

Hi Are you aware that www.fedoraproject.org has become inaccessible (at least to me in UK). I now get "Access Denied - Please contact your network administrator" when trying to connect. Googling "Fedora" produces your site at the top of the list but a couple of places below is www.fedora.org , which is a very weird and disturbing page that refers in an oblique fashion to Fedora Linux. As a long time Fedora Linux user I am very concerned about this. I can access your site through anonymouse.org, so it seems that some sort of censorship, filtering, blacklisting or DOS attack is underway. I have queried my ISP (Virgin.net) but have no reply yet. I would be interested to know what light you can throw on this. Regards, Geoff Siddell

I downloaded the fedora 86_64 dvd yesterday (which was painless, thank you!). However, it was a bit more difficult to find the sha1sum file to go along with it - I think it would make it easier for future downloaders if you could put a link to that file on the main (download) page. Thanks for listening!

I miss the ISO's for CD.

Wrong language.

Hi ! I just want to say that on this webbpage: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/f8/ ...there is a link for Swedish language (Svenska) that is pointing to wrong language (don't now wich language but defintely not Swedish). Namely this: http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/f8/sk/ the language on this page is Polish or Serbia or something like that (I realy don't now what it is) and not Swedish. A another note also is that The Swedish language has the country symbol *se*and not sv. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.se Please correct this. Thanks alot !!!
