Hello,
Until Jan 31 is possible to submit papers for the following Codemotion
events:
* Rome 17-19/03
* Dubai 01-03/04
* Amsterdam 09-12/05
* Dublin 20-23/06
I've already submitted a different talk for those events, so I'll
probably go indipendentely of the Fedora talk and can do the Fedora talk
eventually.
My question is: do you think would make sense a Fedora talk in such
event? If yes, with what focus?
Best regards,
Fabio
PS: Please notice that the deadline is Jan 31 so it's pretty close (even
considering there will be the FOSDEM in Jan 30-31).

Hello,
If you have an approved ticket in the EMEA trac[1] that is still open
and you are asking for funding, please submit all the necessary receipts
and assign your ticket for reimbursement, asap.
This fiscal year ends in 29 of February, and all open tickets should be
closed and reimbursed by then. Ideally, tickets should be assigned for
reimbursement in the same quarter. Tickets that remain open for many
months or quarters, might not be possible to be reimbursed after all.
Closing a ticket in time, will also help with budget planning.
Kind regards,
Zacharias

Hi,
I've started organizing our presence at FOSDEM 2016, mainly our
traditional booth there. Coming to FOSDEM this time? Add your name to
the list, so that we know what fedorians will be there:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FOSDEM_2016
Note that we need ~6 ppl for booth duty and contributors that will
represent Fedora at the booth may get sponsored.
I've booked 6 beds in Aris Grand Place Hotel (our traditional hotel
Radisson Blu is unfortunately fully booked). The reservation can be
changed or canceled, I booked it to have something before it's too late
for moderate room rates.

Hello everyone,
Along with sessivany we were thinking of having an EMEA Ambassadors
meetup in DevConf[1] (5-7 February 2016), and ask for a few hours in the
schedule and a room in the last day, after the conference ends.
We didn't organize an EMEA FAD this year, and I think this small meetup
would be really valuable, so that we can make our event plan, decide
which events we should participate in, and propose the budget for the
next year.
DevConf is also a very good and easy choice to have a meetup there, as
it is a conference co-organized from Fedora, and there will already be
there many active contributors from the project, plenty Ambassadors from
the Czech Republic, the FPL, and many other Ambassadors from nearby
countries. Sessivany told me that we could get a room with good
connectivity so that we could also live stream for contributors that
won't be able to come. And of course, DevConf is a much more affordable
solution, as it's much cheaper than organizing something independent at
this moment.
Finally, we could use some funds of the EMEA budget that we have left
from this FY, to get some important and active contributors there, and
accommodate them.
Thoughts?
I hope everyone has a great holiday season,
Zacharias
