I'd like to add the 'compress' term to logrotate for http logs on the app servers. App2 is low on disk space right now and it would free up some space.

Two other things, I'd like to blow away a directory on app2:
/var/tmp/l10n-data/scratchdir/hg/virt-mem.tip
and run a cron job as apache
cd /srv/web/translation/; make > /dev/null; /usr/bin/python \ update-stats.py >> /var/log/fedora-l10n/update-stats.`date +%F`.log 2>&1; \ /usr/sbin/tmpwatch --mtime 168 /var/log/fedora-l10n/
can I get two +1's on these 3 things?

+1 to compress (though it concerns me that it might suck more cpu to do it)

Has this one been tested?

The cron job runs pretty regularly anyway, it just needs an update after the hg dir is gone. the virt-mem tip has over a G of kernel images in it from the upstream repo for some reason.
