Greetings all,
I've come to the conclusion that I'm stretched too thin and I'm not able to
do a good job working in all of the various groups that I'm in. My service
to the Environments and Stacks group has been the one that has suffered the
most. It doesn't seem right for me to hold onto a voting position and not
be able to do the work that the WG needs while leaving the group will free
me up to spend some time on the other things that need my attention. In
addition, it seems that my timezone is the furthest to one side so if
I leave you should (until you recruit the next US West Coast'er :-) be able
to find a more suitable meeting time for the remaining members.
In any case, apologies for not being able to do more work while I was on Env
and Stacks and best of luck in the search for a replacement candidate for my
spot! :-)

Last few weeks there wasn't much people on our regular meetings. I guess now is the time,
when we don't need meetings so often and we can start working on various tasks.
I'm still stuck with SCL for Fedora. You can join discussions if you are interested. See
FPC meeting minutes:
http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting-1/2014-05-22/fpc.2014-05-22…
I have some notes about their list of blockers, but I need to discuss it with Jan Zeleny (scl-utils
maintainer) first. Honestly I have no idea about some of them if they are doable or not.
There is needed to think about Playground tests, which should be run by Taskotron:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Env_and_Stacks/Playground_repository_%28draf…
What I found out speaking to Kamil (developer of Taskotron, Fedora QA):
* Taskotron is still very fresh project, API might change
* Copr bindings are not there (might be a good project)
* testing of Taskotron is welcomed
For more see preliminary documentation for writing Taskotron tasks:

Hi everyone. We have about 60 packages in the Ruby SCL proposed for Fedora
21 (see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Ruby193_in_SCL, and as I
understand it, intended to be fundamentally similar to
http://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/rhscl/ruby193/).
We need to get these packages reviewed and any issues quickly resolved. To
that end, I'd like to organize a virtual Fedora Activity Day. Let's first
figure out who is interested and available to help, and then we can schedule
a time when packagers and reviewers are both available to go through the
list.
