Well....
[egreshko@meimei ~]$ host apt.kde-redhat.org apt.kde-redhat.org is an alias for apt.unl.edu. apt.unl.edu is an alias for math.unl.edu. math.unl.edu has address 129.93.181.6
And whois shows that domain not being owned by redhat.... as in redhat.com
So, maybe you need to look elsewhere?
Ed...
Please. This is Rex's personal site.
So thank you very much for being so very helpful

You are very welcome. If you know it to be his "personal" site....then maybe contact him directly?
FWIW, it seems to be "half way" up. After about 4 minutes of letting chrome try....I got the index. Another 4 minutes to change the directory.
It is his personal site where he manages all the testing and development packages that are used for qa'ing kde before it goes into the Fedora repo.
Ed... please do not be aggrevating.

You act as if everyone should just *know* it is his personal web site and what it is for....
You know what you can do with your last comment.

Anybody using kde-testing and or kde-unstable repos should know what apt.kde-redhat.org is. :-)
Same problems here connecting. http://apt.de.kde-redhat.org works though.
It's too bad that repo hasn't existed for years and is common knowledge among most of the people on this mailing list! We are better informed and humbled by your mailing list posts, ed.

most != everyone
People should not assume. I'm hoping you know the old saying about "assume".
And I certainly love the responses of individuals on this list when someone tries to help but that help doesn't live up to their "expectations". They are quite adept at the use of sarcasm.
Indeed you must be a superior being for knowing the existence of that website and the repo.
You can't begin to comprehend what level of esteem I've ascribe to some.

Eli
it works if you use ftp://apt.kde-redhat.org
I'v just temporarily changed the http's to ftp's in the repo file on the mirrorlist lines
