Hi,
I made a table of the meeting attendance since the inception of the new Plasma WG. The HTML table is attached.
Of note: * On 2014-04-22, there was no meeting at all. On 2014-06-10, less than half of the voting members were attending. For several of the other days, I had to drum together people to get them to show up, several showed up late (lateness is not considered in the table, late people are listed as present), and the main reason there was no meeting on April 22 is that I wasn't there to drum people up. * Attendance ranges from 100% (me, though to be fair, I wouldn't have been present on April 22 if there had been a meeting on that day) to 0% (Siddharth Sharma). * 2 voting members have attendance scores less than 50%: jreznik (46%) and obviously siddharths (0%). * On the other hand, danofsatx has been attending at least 62% of the meetings. (Those are only the ones he reported present at, meetbot doesn't log people who are present without writing anything, thus the "at least".)
I propose that, effective immediately, Siddhart Sharma gets dropped from the list of voting WG members, and nominate danofsatx as the replacement.
WG members, please vote! My vote for my own proposal is obviously a +1.

I'd prefer if Siddhart could respond to this thread and commit to doing better.
Lacking that, I'm +1

Since I finally got my email issues straightened out (thanks, Outlook), I thought I would acknowledge this thread.
I am honored to be considered for an "official" position on the KDE Working Group. I am an avid user of KDE Plasma, having come back to it from the hell that was KDE 3. While I am not a developer by any stretch of the imagination, I am a tester and am willing to break things. As a user, I feel I would bring a valuable viewpoint to the WG that maybe the developers don't see.
For the record, I will not be at next week's meeting due to the RH300 class I will be attending (in Raleigh, if anyone cares).

I have not seen an email response from Siddhart regarding this matter. Has any member of the WG heard from him personally? I am really excited to be considered for this position, but it has not been mentioned at any meetings since the initial discussion on 17/06.
I would like this matter to be added to the 22/07 meeting agenda, as it will have been one month since the issue was initiated by Kevin Kofler. Failing any response from Siddhart (or by proxy) by that time, I hereby humbly request that the WG members in attendance at that meeting (if quorum is reached) to vote on whether they would accept me as a gracious replacement for the apparently vacated seat.
Regards, Dan

I received a private email from him that he would like to stay and would do better. Except, he hasn't... yet. :(
